A good word to describe Colwynn would be…passionate. Some people would say angry, but if you’re one of the people she’s close to she’s actually really caring and sweet. It takes quite a bit to get to that side of her. Once you get there she’s also fiercely protective. If she loves someone she won’t hesitate to get into a brawl to defend them – whether they like it or not.
She also loves music. That’s her dad’s fault, she figures, as he was in a band before he had to be a parent and got a respectable job to be a good provider for her.
Despite being a rough and tumble kind of girl who’s always ready to get into a scrap, Colwynn was actually in Ravenclaw before she and her dad had to move North. She’s incredibly intelligent and creative, sometimes too much so for her own good. This isn’t always something that she goes around advertising, although she thinks it ought to be obvious as she’s usually reading something or other. Not that she minds. Colwynn learned from a very young age the value of not caring one iota about how other people perceive you.
Still, despite Colwynn’s beyond exceptional grades in school, she would still be considered the one most likely to set something on fire. That both pleases and pisses her off because being feared by your peers generally means that they leave you alone, but the cliché about how the Irish are violent arsonists is both overbearing and offensive.
For someone as young as she is who has absolutely no say in…just about anything, Colwynn certainly has a lot to say. Being too young to do much of anything useful, she does what she can by protesting every chance she has. Or at least she did before her protesting ended up being the catalyst in her father losing his job and getting blacklisted from working just about anywhere in the United Kingdom again. Now that she’s in Norway she doesn’t really know enough of what’s going on and what she would care about there to protest anything. Plus she’s trying to be on her best behavior so since moving to Norway she’s done her best to keep her head down and keep out of trouble, for her father’s sake. At least for now.
